After pouring over 7,500 cubic yards of cement and working more than 10 months on construction, including the installation of a dedicated transformer station and railroad siding, Ocala Recycling has positioned itself to serve all of central Florida (and beyond) as a shredder processor for cars and scrap steel.

This facility, only 2.2 miles north of our main plant, boasts state of the art equipment and the latest technology in shredder processing so that we can purchase and process our customer’s shreddable scrap more competitively and efficiently.

It is a public friendly facility opened Monday through Friday from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. and on Saturdays 8:00 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. and cash payments are made through our ATM located at the facility.

By putting our customers first and foremost in service, reliability and competitive pricing we continue to grow our business and along with that growth find more efficient ways to produce and process scrap thereby sharing with those same customers the advantages of being the best. Our new shredder facility is just another witness to that commitment and growth.
